In this Sermon, Pastor Eric contrasts God's wisdom regarding obtaining salvation, which is counter-intuitive to people's cultural mindset to the extent that it seems offensive and foolish. However, God's higher ways and thoughts (Isaiah 55:9) must be surrendered two and embraced by faith. Just as the Israelites lives were saved from venomous snake bites, not by medicine, but by simply looking upon the bronze serpent - our souls are saved not by our own wisdom, power, nor pedigree but by looking unto Jesus with faith (Numbers 21; John 3:14-15; 2 Cor 5:21).
